The Secret Garden, Black Beauty, The Great Brain, Tom Sawyer. Just the first few off the top of my head. Love this one too.

I never read Black Beauty or the Great Brain. I don’t remember if I read Tom Sawyer or not. Oh dear, it looks like I’m behind on my childhood reading!

The Narnia Chronicles, but then I didn’t actually discover them until high school. Beverly Cleary’s Ramona books were a fave, and I remember MoomimPapa books. So many!

The Ramona books were great. I also loved Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing, Island of the Blue Dolphins, and The Trumpet of the Swan.

I really need to read Anne of Green Gables. I didn’t read Little Women until I was all grown up.

Among the many I loved my absolute favourite was – and still is – the Little Prince.

Our book club chose that as a book one month. It sparked such interesting conversations!

I used to like reading Charlottes Web to the kids when I was a class teacher – except at the end when most of the class were in tears, including me! My own favourite though was Prince Caspian from the Narnia series.
Literary Tiger said:
Prince Caspian was very adventurous, wasn’t he? My son loves listening to Chronicles of Narnia on audio.

It’s so weird that I’ve never read Charlotte’s Web before but I hope to get to it soon. My new fav place to but t-shirts has a cute tee with the Charlotte’s Web’s book cover on it. Here’s the link: http://shop.outofprintclothing.com/Charlotte_s_Web_book_cover_t_shirt_p/l-1040.htm
